Ordering, Pricing & Payment

Minimum order quantities, SAR volume tiers, VAT and ZATCA invoicing, settlement channels and sample requests.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) at AERMAK?

MOQs at AERMAK Intelligent Factory are set per SKU and per material, not as one company-wide figure. Published catalogue minimums are 1,000 pcs for the dual-colour JI nursery pot series (90–240 mm), 200 pcs for large planting containers from 1.1 L to 44 L, 500 pcs for 18 L and 20 L paint and mortar pails, 500 pcs for hanging pots, 50 pcs for water-filled municipal road barriers and 50 rolls for pallet stretch film. Those minimums exist because each changeover consumes press time and generates setup scrap on 120T–1,800T machines. Mixed-SKU orders can be consolidated under one proforma invoice when the line schedule allows. Custom moulded parts have a separate minimum tied to tooling and expected annual volume, agreed after DFM review. Orders below catalogue MOQ are evaluated case by case for ex-stock items. Send quantities, SKUs and destination to sales@aermak.sa or WhatsApp +966 508 934 120 for a volume confirmation.

How is pricing structured, and is 15% VAT included?

Prices are quoted in Saudi Riyals on graduated volume tiers and they exclude 15% VAT. For example, the dual-colour JI nursery pot is 1.80 SAR/pc at 1,000–4,999 pcs, 1.45 SAR at 5,000–19,999, 1.15 SAR at 20,000–49,999 and 0.88 SAR/pc at 50,000 pcs and above; pails move from 15.50 SAR at 500–1,999 to 12.20 SAR at 5,000 and above; road barriers from 115 SAR at 50–199 to 85 SAR at 500 and above. Every quotation states the tier, unit price and effectivity date; the stamped proforma then adds 15% VAT and is issued as a ZATCA-compliant tax invoice under our VAT registration. Prices are ex-works Riyadh unless the quotation names delivery, with freight, palletization and offloading quoted as separate lines. Custom tooling is quoted as a one-off line item, and tooling amortization options can be discussed on long-term programmes. Because resin grade and masterbatch change cost, a written quotation always supersedes the indicative prices shown on the website.

What payment methods do you accept, and do you require a deposit?

AERMAK does not take card payments online. An order request on this website creates a procurement enquiry rather than a paid order: our sales engineers verify stock and delivery terms, then issue a stamped proforma invoice. Standard settlement is bank transfer to our corporate account at Riyad Bank, beneficiary AERMAK INTELLIGENT FACTORY FOR MANUFACTURING, IBAN SA48 2000 0002 4646 5232 9940, SWIFT RIBSARI, quoting the proforma number. VAT invoices are issued in line with ZATCA regulations. Production or dispatch is scheduled against the advance payment stated on the proforma. For larger project and container orders, milestone schedules such as advance, pre-shipment and balance are agreed in writing case by case, and all documents are issued against commercial registration 7055233212. Any change to payment terms must be confirmed in writing by an authorised signatory. Always verify the bank details against the proforma before transferring and call +966 11 498 7620 if anything differs.

Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. Sample handling depends on whether you need a catalogue item or a custom moulded part. For catalogue SKUs such as JI pots, large containers, pails, barriers and stretch film, our sales team arranges sample units from Riyadh stock; sample quantity, unit price, courier cost and any palletization are quoted before dispatch, and courier charges are normally payable by the customer. For custom parts, the sample is produced from the production tool after DFM approval: T1 first-article parts are inspected dimensionally for wall thickness, drainage holes and colour matching, then sent with a first-article inspection report for your approval before mass production. Sample colour is limited to the agreed masterbatch, and special colour matches may require a minimum batch. Approved samples can be retained as the golden reference for production. Share the drawing or SKU, target quantity and delivery city with sales@aermak.sa or WhatsApp +966 508 934 120 and we confirm the sampling plan in writing.

Tooling, Materials & Lead Times

Production and dispatch windows, custom mould and OEM workflows, resin formulation choices, and how CAD files are submitted under NDA.

What are typical production and delivery lead times?

Lead time depends on whether the item is ex-stock or made to order. Published catalogue guidance: JI nursery pots and water-filled road barriers are available for immediate dispatch from our Riyadh yard, and larger production runs typically complete within 3–5 working days; large planting containers from 1.1 L to 44 L and 18 L / 20 L pails are typically 5–7 working days. Those are factory production windows, not door-to-door transit times: delivery within Riyadh, Qassim, Dammam and Jeddah is scheduled separately, and GCC export moves through Dammam port or Riyadh dry port. Custom moulded parts follow a project schedule of DFM review, tooling build, T1 first-article approval and then mass production, with each milestone confirmed on the proforma. Order volume and special masterbatch colours can extend the window, and the proforma states the committed dispatch date. Send the SKU, quantity and delivery city to sales@aermak.sa or WhatsApp +966 508 934 120 to have a date confirmed in writing against stock and press capacity.

Can AERMAK design and manufacture a custom mould for my product?

Yes, custom tooling is one of our core capabilities. The workflow runs from 2D or 3D drawings or a physical sample through DFM (design-for-manufacturability) analysis and mould-flow simulation, steel tool design and fabrication in our in-house CNC workshop with 5-axis machining, wire EDM and mirror polishing, then T1 first-article sampling and mass production on presses from 120T to 1,800T. We also handle OEM branding: colour masterbatch matching, logo embossing directly on the mould, in-mould labelling or silk-screen printing for pails, and custom protective packaging. Tooling is quoted as a one-off line item; ownership, maintenance and wear-part terms are stated in the tooling agreement. Because part geometry, cavitation, steel grade and expected annual volume drive mould cost, we issue a written DFM report and tooling quotation after reviewing your files. STEP, STP, DWG, DXF or PDF drawings can be uploaded on the custom inquiry page under mutual NDA, and family moulds or interchangeable inserts can be designed when a product line shares a common base.

Which plastic materials do you mould, and how are they selected?

AERMAK processes PP, HDPE, HMW-HDPE, LLDPE, ABS, PC, PA66+GF, POM and PBT, with the choice driven by application, UV exposure and cost target. Nursery pots and large containers use compounded PP: recycled or virgin polypropylene blended with 15–25% of 20-micron heavy calcium carbonate and coupling agents, plus UV inhibitors for 50°C+ Riyadh summers, which is the formulation validated in our greenhouse field tests. Water-filled municipal road barriers are blow moulded from high-molecular-weight HDPE so they resist impact and UV without warping; 18 L and 20 L pails use impact-grade PP with an EPDM sealing gasket; stretch film uses virgin LLDPE and BOPP tape uses BOPP film. Food-contact pails can be produced from SFDA-approved food-grade resin on request. Material grade, calcium carbonate loading, UV package and colour are fixed in the approved sample and stated on the quotation, so mass production matches the validated specification. Alternative resins can be quoted where an application needs higher chemical resistance or stiffness.

How do I submit CAD files, and will you sign an NDA?

Use the custom inquiry form at /en/custom-inquiry or /ar/custom-inquiry. It accepts STEP, STP, DWG, DXF, PDF, ZIP, JPG and PNG files, up to 5 files and up to 25 MB per file, and submitting creates a tracked engineering inquiry reference. Confidential treatment is built into the workflow: the form carries an explicit mutual NDA consent, and we can execute your own NDA or our bilateral non-disclosure agreement before drawings are shared. Files are reviewed only by the mould engineering and commercial teams for DFM and tooling costing and are not shared with third parties. Our mould department returns a preliminary DFM report and tooling quotation within 24 business hours, then a final quotation after clarification. If drawings are export-controlled or need a secure transfer channel, contact sales@aermak.sa or WhatsApp +966 508 934 120 first so the transfer method is agreed. For 2D-only drawings, include material, wall thickness, tolerances and expected annual volume to shorten the review.

Quality, Compliance & Validation

SASO and SABER documentation, greenhouse field validation of pots, factory audits, and after-sales claim handling.

Are AERMAK products SASO compliant, and can you supply certificates?

SASO conformity is handled per product scope rather than as one blanket claim. The factory operates a documented quality system and publishes ISO 9001:2015 quality management, a SASO Quality Mark and SFDA food-contact approval on its factory page, and each production batch carries SASO QR batch traceability through palletizing and pre-dispatch audit. For a specific order we confirm the applicable SASO technical regulation and whether a SABER certificate of conformity or a self-declaration is required for that product and HS code, then issue the certificate copies and test reports that fall inside the scope. Certificate of conformity cost and third-party inspection lead time are quoted with the order when required. Importers sometimes need the product registered under their own SABER account, and we support that documentation. Request the compliance pack for your SKU from sales@aermak.sa; certificate numbers and documents are issued against a named buyer and a specific proforma, not published on this page.

What does the 20,000 m² smart greenhouse actually validate?

AERMAK operates a 20,000 m² commercial smart greenhouse next to the 15,000 m² manufacturing floor inside the 35,000 m² Riyadh site. It is a working validation asset, not a showroom: new pot geometries and resin formulations are planted and monitored under real Riyadh conditions, including 50°C+ summer peaks, irrigation cycles and high-mineral-content water, before a customer mass production run. The programme checks root aeration and drainage-hole performance, wall rigidity under stacking, colour fade and UV degradation, and seedling survival against imported baseline containers. The closed-loop case study published on this site reports zero pot warping over 18 months of intensive cultivation, a 23% improvement in seedling survival and a 32% reduction in container cost versus imported equivalents. Because the greenhouse is commercial, the data reflects the same irrigation and nutrition regimes nursery customers actually use. Buyers can request a field validation summary or a greenhouse walk-through during a factory audit.

Can we visit or audit the factory before ordering?

Yes. Customer and third-party factory audits are welcome at our Riyadh site on Al-Kharj Road, 2nd Industrial City, Street 48, during working hours Sunday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 AST. A typical audit covers the injection hall with 48 presses from 120T to 1,800T, the CNC mould workshop, material compounding and calcium carbonate dosing, the six-stage QA protocol (raw polymer and 20-micron calcite lot testing, FAI coordinate metrology, in-process patrol audits, environmental chamber and drop tests, greenhouse validation and palletizing with SASO QR traceability), and the 20,000 m² smart greenhouse. We ask for the audit scope, checklist and attendee list in advance so the engineering, QA and commercial leads are available, and the slot is confirmed by email. Third-party inspection agencies can be hosted for pre-shipment inspection, and an NDA can be signed before the visit. To book, email sales@aermak.sa or call +966 11 498 7620 with two or three preferred dates.

What after-sales support and warranty do you provide?

Support starts with the approved sample: the first-article inspection report and golden sample define the specification, and every batch is checked against it, so quality discussions are settled against a documented reference rather than recollection. If a delivered batch falls outside the agreed specification, contact sales@aermak.sa with the order reference, the SASO QR batch label and photos; our QA team investigates the retained samples and batch records, then proposes replacement, rework or credit according to the agreed terms. Commercial warranty and defect-liability terms are stated per order on the proforma and order confirmation, and we do not publish a single blanket duration because terms differ between catalogue pots, blow-moulded barriers, pails and custom moulded parts. Tooling maintenance and wear-part replacement are covered in the tooling agreement. For technical support on material selection, stacking, UV performance or transport damage, the same commercial team coordinates with the engineering department during working hours, Sunday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 AST.

Logistics, Files & Support

Delivery across Saudi Arabia and the GCC, multi-SKU container consolidation, and Arabic or English sales support on WhatsApp.

How do you deliver across Saudi Arabia and the GCC?

Goods ship ex-works from our Riyadh plant, which has direct truck access for 40 ft container chassis and multi-axle freight carriers. Domestic distribution covers Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Dammam, Jeddah and other regions through our own dispatch scheduling and appointed carriers, with palletized loads stretch-wrapped and lot-labelled for forklift unloading. Export orders move by road to Dammam port or through Riyadh dry port for sea freight, with the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and conformity documents prepared for the destination. Incoterm preference can be discussed with the sales team, and freight, palletization and offloading appear as separate lines on the quotation. Container capacity depends on the SKU: a 40HQ holds up to 55,485 JI nursery pots when palletized to 2.5 m stacking height. Transit time and customs clearance are outside factory control, so the proforma states the dispatch date, not the arrival date. Send the delivery city or port and quantity for a freight estimate.

Can I combine several SKUs in one container or truck?

Yes, consolidation is planned at order confirmation. Mixed loads are normal for distributors and landscape contractors: nursery pots, large containers, pails, barriers and stretch film can share a container when carton and pallet dimensions allow, and each SKU keeps its own batch label and packing-list line. Loading plans are built around pallet footprints and stack heights, and JI pots palletized to 2.5 m allow up to 55,485 pcs in a 40HQ, but mixing heavy pails or 44 L containers with light pots reduces that count, so we calculate the actual capacity for each mix. Tier pricing is applied per SKU on that SKU quantity, not on the combined container total. A single proforma, invoice and packing list covers the consolidated shipment, while the MOQ per SKU still applies. To optimise a consolidation, send the target SKUs, per-SKU quantities, pallet preference and destination port or city, and our logistics team returns a loading plan and freight estimate.

Can I get Arabic-language support, and how do I reach sales on WhatsApp?

Yes. The commercial and engineering teams work in both Arabic and English, and quotations, proforma invoices, tax invoices and technical documents can be issued in Arabic on request. Reach sales on WhatsApp at +966 508 934 120, which is also used for order follow-up, drawing clarification and dispatch updates, or call the direct line +966 11 498 7620. Email sales@aermak.sa for quotations and orders and info@aermak.sa for general enquiries. Working hours are Sunday to Thursday 08:00–17:00 AST, and messages received outside working hours are answered on the next working day. Arabic-language pages mirror every English page, including products, factory, custom inquiry, order, contact and this FAQ, so Arabic buyers can read specifications and submit forms in Arabic. For faster handling, include the SKU or drawing reference, quantity, delivery city and company name in the first message. On-site meetings at the Riyadh plant can be arranged in Arabic, and expatriate procurement teams can be served in English.
